The photographic project “Potosi, beyond silver” was forged over time and with repeated life experiences, although from the first day I discovered this city the crush, attraction and curiosity suddenly arose; a love that continues to increase without limits to this day.
The content is divided into 3 different parts. In the first, the city is presented with its intense color palette and it is about scenes that dot daily life in Potosi where moments of everyday life are reflected. The second part takes us to the microcosm of the mine, the darkness, its protagonists, its entrails, the mining rituals, traditions, the image of Tio and the customs. The third block corresponds to them, “the forgotten ones”, portraits of life delivered to the mines of Cerro Rico and the rest of the Department of Potosi.
